Launched during November 2013 the second generation Wi-Fi only iPad Mini includes a Retina screen which is capable of displaying 2048 x 1536 pixels at a density of 326ppi (pixels per inch).
Also included is a much more powerful A7 64 bit processor which is also used in the full sized iPad Air tablet. This runs side by side with an M7 motion coprocessor to assist with a smoother graphic capability. Four different memory configurations are available 16GB (£319.00), 32GB (£399.99), 64GB (£479.00) and 128GB (£559.00). Again there is a choice of 2 colours with either a Black front with a "space grey" rear finish or White front with "Silver" rear finish. Internet connectivity is again via Wi-Fi.
The dimensions are much the same as it's predecessor as is the 5 mega pixel camera with 1080p HD video recording with shake stabilisation.
Cellular internet connectivity is also available with a further 8 models (additional subscription is required) with prices £100 extra than the Wi-Fi only counterparts.
